Sunday Afternoon

It was such a pretty afternoon so we went over to the school campus and played catch and golf. It was so much fun. The campus has huge trees that shade basically the whole grass area we were in so it was nice and cool. :)

Hide and Go Seek

Joshua really loves playing hide and go seek so we've been playing around the house a lot lately. I decided to take some pictures tonight. Joshua is starting to get really sneaky with his hiding places and I thought these were funny.

Here's Rodney hiding in Joshua's closet. It took forever to convince Joshua to open the closet to see if Rodney was in there.

Me and Joshua decided to hide together and have daddy find us. Notice Joshua has his flash light. He wouldn't hide in the dark closet without it. One of his usual spots. :)
This was my favorite! He had his flash light and laid in the closet until daddy found him tonight. I can't believe I convinced him to stay in there until daddy found him. He thought it was so funny.

Texas Motor Speedway

We found another very inexpensive thing to do here in Fort Worth. For $20 (total for all 3 of us) we got to tour the Texas Motor Speedway. And, as much as my son loves racing he was so excited and it was definitely worth it. We got into a van with the tour guide and he drove us around the track at 80 miles an hour. It scared me half to death, but you would have thought Joshua had died and gone to heaven with as much fun as he was having. He actually wanted to go faster.

After the race around the track we got to go into pit row and victory lane. The tour guide also took us up to one of the luxury boxes so we could see the view from there.

One of Joshua's favorites. We didn't see the Jeff Gordon car, that's his most favorite car.

Video of Joshua at Splash Pad

Bicentennial Park

We met some friends of ours from church at Bicentennial Park this morning. It is such a nice park and it's in a real pretty neighborhood so you feel nice and safe. (Which is always important to me.) It was a great morning and a great way to get some energy out of the boys. :)

We let the boys play on the splash pad for about an hour, then had a picnic lunch. After lunch the boys wanted to play on the playgrounds. Now we are back home and Joshua is taking a nap. He was very tired. :)

Rodney and Chris seeing if they can hit each others feet on the swings.
Then of course me and Becky had to try.
