Here I Come South Carolina!

This will probably be my last blog post until Monday so I figured I'd write real quick and ask all of you to please remember me in your prayers this weekend. I'll be speaking on Saturday at a women's retreat in South Carolina. I can't wait to get there to share what the Lord has put on my heart. It's going to be a great time of renewal in the Lord and my prayer is that each lady that comes will come with open hearts to receive the word of God.

I'm flying out of Dallas/Fort Worth tomorrow and will arrive in South Carolina somewhere around 5:30pm. My mom and my aunt are picking me up and I can not wait to see them. I've missed them so much and it's going to be great to get to see family while I'm there. My mom and I will be able to spend some one on one time together and I'm so excited about that since we don't get to do that much anymore.

Well, I hope everybody has a great weekend and I'll be back Monday with lots of pictures and an update on how everything went.

Love ya'll and thank you for your prayers!

This Ought to be FuN!

Well, the fun has begun. My worse nightmare is becoming reality. What could it be you might ask? MY SON WANTS DRUMS FROM SANTA CLAUSE!!! He has been in a "muscial" mode here lately. He wants a guitar for Christmas and now he said to us, "I need drums from Santa Clause. I have to tell him. It will be so much fun." Here's a little video of him showing some of his drumming skills. Pray for us! (hahaha)

More Video's

Here's some video's of Joshua singing, Jesus Loves Me and You are My Sunshine! I'm totally LOVING this feature and I'm sure ya'll are going to see alot more video's on my blog.

Mainstay Farm

We went out to Mainstay Farm today for their fall festival. They had big hay bales the kids could play on, a hay ride, a 3 story tree house, a wooden maze, cool little cars they could ride, a 100 foot slide, goats, pumpkins, and lots more. Needless to say we had a blast. Here are a few videos and pictures from our fun morning. Make sure to turn your sound up for the videos. ENJOY!

The 100 foot slide. No, we did not go down it this time.

The Maze!

The 3 Story tree house. Joshua had a blast on these little race cars.

WOW! My hair all went forward and I look shaggy! :) But, it was a fun ride!

Up in the tree house.

AWE! Ain't we cute! Mommy and Joshua!

What a mess!

I was looking back at some old pictures and found these of Joshua that just made me laugh so hard! Isn't that the life? That child is sooooo funny! He was just chillin in his little boat without a care in the world. I had to share these with ya'll. They are so priceless!! :) He was 2 years old in both of these pictures and he still has that same laid back, not a care in the world attitude about him.

What a Cutie!!!

Women's Retreat

Well, the plane ticket is bought and I'll be on my way to South Carolina next weekend. I can't believe the retreat is almost here. I'm so excited about the message the Lord has given me to share. I'm so in love with reading the word of God and teaching it so I really can't wait to get there and share what He has placed on my heart to share. The retreat will be videoed so I'm hoping to get the video put up on my blog when I get back and have had time to review them. I'll be speaking twice on Saturday and then the rest of the time I'll get to see family and friends that I've missed sooooooo much being here in Texas. I'll also get to go to my home church on Sunday and I cannot wait to see everyone back home. God is so good to have given me this opportunity.

Ya'll pray for me because I HATE flying and I've never flown by myself before so this ought to be really fun. And, I hate leaving my Joshua and Rodney for the weekend. I'll miss them so much. But, I know the Lord will take care of them while I'm gone doing His work! Also pray that the women that come to the retreat will come with open hearts. My goal for them is that they would see just how awesome the love of Christ is and for each one of them to claim that love in their lives. We do not serve a dead god, our God is alive and active and his love for us is as real as the breath in our lungs. That is the message of Christ and it's time we started standing up as Christians and claiming that message of love to the world. It's the only thing we have that's going to get us through the good and tough times.

Be careful little eyes what you see.....

I found this video today and the message is very powerful. I'm not going to say much about it because the video speaks for itself.

I've often sung the song with Joshua, "be careful little eyes what you see, be careful little eyes what you see, for the father up above is looking down with love, be careful little eyes what you see." And, it goes on with two other verses using "be careful little ears what you hear" and then "be careful little lips what you say."

Watch this video and be reminded of just that.

Fun Zone Night

We decided we would get out of the house tonight and enjoy ourselves at the Putt Putt Fun Zone near our house. They've got all kinds of fun stuff there and we had a blast! It's been a nice evening just having fun and laughing together. Now, we're all laid up on the couch with our pj's on, watching a snow dog racing show on TV. These boys and their racing, they just love it.
Joshua flying high in the airplane! He LOVED THIS!

Daddy and Joshua getting ready to race. This was by far Joshua's favorite part of the whole night!Time to get dizzy on the Teacup ride!

Joshua heading back to ride the race cars again!

Got to just love that face!! :)

Soccer Game

Oh yeah! I've got the ball, WATCH OUT! RUN, RUN, RUN!
There it no telling why I'm clapping here. We had a great time playing last night and was just cracking up!

Dude, this picture looks like I'm killing this guys leg. I look like I'm all ticked off at him or something, but I swear I wasn't. I think he fell and I was trying to jump over him so I didn't stomp on him. At least that's the story I'm sticking to. (hahahaha) that's funny!
