You've got to just love this laugh! When Joshua gets tickled he's got the cutiest laugh in the world. And, trust me it doesn't take much to get him tickled.
A video of mommy and Joshua being very silly. Excuse Joshua's lack of pants. He wanted to run around in his new USC shirt today (even though they got creamed by Clemson). I guess he's a loyal Gamecock fan.

Funny Joshua Story
So, I went to pick Joshua up from school yesterday and his teacher tells me that him and a little girl in class have been spending lots of time together here lately. They've gotten to be little buddies and do a lot together during the day. During lunch time yesterday they were hugging and being sweet and the next thing the teacher knew they were KISSING!! OH MY WORD! My 3 year old is kissing girls. What a flirt! Of course we all had to laugh. I mean come on, their 3! They are going to do silly things. But, you better bet this story is going down in my journal and will be used against him the future when he brings his little girlfriends home. (hahaha)

Quick Update
Hey Everybody:
We're still here, just staying busy with tons of stuff right now. The end of the semester is drawing near so Rodney is buried in papers and projects that need to be done. So, me and Joshua are spending a lot of time together so that daddy can get his stuff done. We'll be so excited to see daddy come back to the land of the living after all these papers and projects are done.
I can't believe Thanksgiving is next week. It's been almost a year since we moved here to Fort Worth, Texas. It sure doesn't seem like it's been that long! But, we are enjoying our time here and making the best of it. It's really not been quite as bad as we thought it would be so that's a good thing. Having some time off to relax next week will be very, very wonderful and we are looking forward to some time off. We're trying our best not to skip over Thanksgiving but we are so excited and anxious for Christmas to get here because we will get to go home to South Carolina. I know it may seem a little early, but we put our Christmas decorations up this weekend and the house is so cozy feeling with the tree and the lights up. Joshua is THRILLED and cannot wait until Santa comes. He talks about it everyday. It's been a good thing with discipline though. I just tell him, "hey, you want to made bad choices then Santa ain't coming to your house." He straightens right up after that. :)
Other than that, we are just doing our everyday stuff. Working, Playing, Eating and Sleeping. Not too much exciting going on. OOHHH.. I am hoping me and Rodney will get to go out on a date this Friday night. The movie Twilight is coming out on Friday and I'm dying to see it so we're going to get a babysitter and go out to dinner and a movie. YAY!
Well, I'll talk to you all later!

A Call To Prayer
I'm sure you have all heard by now that Obama won the Presidential election. Instead of deciding to rant and rave over the decision that has been made, it's in our best interest to go before Almighty God in prayer asking him to guide our nation. He is ultimately the only one in control and although things don't make sense sometimes God still has a plan and purpose for all that happens. Scripture tells us in 1 Timothy 2:1-2 to pray for kings and all those in authority. "Although God is all-powerful and all-knowing, he has chosen to let us help him change the world through our prayers. How this works is a mystery to us because of our limited understanding, but it is a reality. Paul urges us to pray for each other and for our leaders in government. Our earnest prayers will have powerful results. Paul's command to pray for kings was remarkable considering that Nero, a notoriously cruel ruler, was emperor at this time. When Paul wrote this letter, persecution was a growing threat to believers. Later, when Nero needed a scapegoat for the great fire that destroyed much of Rome in A.D. 64, he blamed the Roman Chrisitians so as to take the focus off himself. Then persecution erupted throughout the Roman empire. When are lives are going along peacefully and quietly, it is difficult to remember to pray for those in authority, beacuse we often take good government for granted. It's easier to remember to pray when we experience problems. But we should pray for those in authority around the world so that their societies will be conducive to the spread of the gospel." (NIV Application Study Bible notes)
We need unity in our nation so now is not the time to start throwing fits and saying you are not going to support our new President. I didn't vote for him, but through the sovereignty of God he got elected so I will do my best to pray for him and support him. If there was ever a time we needed to come together, it's now! Don't let Satan win this battle. He wants to see our nation divide over this, but I refuse to give in to that. Let's show the world how strong we are through Christ!

2 Pictures from this Weekend

Back in Texas
I'm back from good ol' S.C. It was so beautiful there. The trees were so beautiful with their autumn colors. I love S.C. in the fall time, especially in Lancaster. It's so beautiful to drive down those country rodes with those beautiful trees on either side of you. I'll have some pictures to put up soon so you can see just how beautiful it is there. My granny has a big piece of land and me and momma took lots of pretty scenic pictures. I told her I'm going to frame them and put them up in my house to remind me of how beautiful it is there.
I had a great time this weekend. It was so nice to be with my family and just spend some one on one time with them. They are so great and we had lots of fun together.
The Women's Retreat was amazing. God really showed up and spoke a word over me and the ladies that attended. I can't put into words how amazing it felt to be in front of this group of ladies and be able to be used of God to bless them. I'll treasure this time for the rest of my life. I've got a DVD copy of each of the talks I gave and hope to have those up on my blog soon. Rodney is going to have to help me figure out how to get them on here. They are pretty long, so I'm guessing it will take a while to upload them on my blog.
Thanks so much for all your prayers. I knew that as I prepared to speak to these ladies at the retreat that Satan would try to throw me off course and there were a few things that happened to try and mess me up, but through the power of Christ they did not knock me down and what God wanted to accomplish, He accomplished this weekend through me. I love watching God at work.
