Fun With The Williams

Tonight's Friday night adventure was to go over to the SWBTS campus and play a little bit of soccer, see the fishies and get some icecream. We had a blast! It was nice to go chill out and do something outside. The weather was cool enough we could actually enjoy being outside. :)

Daddy was working Monday night so me and Joshua decided we would go over to the playground and play. We ended up playing a little bit of one on one soccer too. I bet you'll never guess who won.... YEP!! The Ball Hog Joshua! Every time I came near the ball Joshua would just fall on it and not let me get it.

Beth Moore Conference

I went to San Antonio with a group of ladies from work this weekend to attend the Beth Moore conference at the Alamo Dome. We had a BLAST!! It was so nice hanging out with these girls outside of work and being able to worship with them. The conference was absolutely incredible and totally strenghted my relationship with Christ. Here are some pictures of me and the girls that went.

These are some pictures of the worship team. THEY WERE AWESOME!

All the Beth Moore bloggers were invited to a special one on one time with her and her daughters after the conference was over. It was a very cool time!

Swim Lesson Pictures, Day 3

Growing Up

I was looking at my blog and noticed the last 2 post really prove how much my little boy is growing up. He's potty trained and taking swim lessons. It's crazy that he's old enough to do these things. Time is going by way too fast for me. I'd rather keep him little, sweet and innocent.. although there have been very few times that Joshua is innocent in anything. (hahahaha) Just kidding! He's getting to be so independant. He doesn't want our help with things. He'd rather get his own juice, snacks, clothes, bath, et, etc, etc. It really is neat watching him grow though. His personality is so awesome and he's the sweetist little thing. He really cares about people and looks out for his friends and family. He definitely doesn't like anyone messing with his mommy and daddy. :) He loves reading his Bible too. We got him a children's Bible and he asks us to read him stories out of it all the time. It's neat watching him have a desire to read the Word of God. I just pray that God will touch his heart at a very early age and that Joshua will live for Jesus all his life.

Swim Lessons

Joshua started swim lessons yesterday and boy did it get off to a rocky start. Yesterday, he absolutely refused to get in the pool. He was ready to get out of there. Poor Rodney was so worn out by the time they got home. He told me I was definitely going to go today. At first Joshua was real whiney and didn't want to do it. But, I decided I would sit with him on the side of the pool with his class and that helped. He actually sat down with his class, which was a huge improvement from yesterday. However, mommy wasn't expecting to get all wet so I just wore my capri pants and a t-shirt. Needless to say I was soaked by the end of the lessons but it was totally worth it. Joshua got in the pool with his teacher and did what his teacher asked him to do. Joshua would cry at first, but when he saw he could trust his teacher and that he was ok, he had a blast. Here are a few pictures. I'll take more and keep adding them. His lessons are for the next 2 weeks.
